Location: under the train-track overpass in Coorparoo
beautiful day out in Coorparoo under the traintracks for a generator show. Kulpurum (now known as Norman Creek) partially runs through this area.
Thankyou oli, dorah, sam, isla, theo for helping set-up. there were fears of rain, but the worst thing that happened to us was just getting our shoes muddy. sets from Conepuncher and Alrey Batol/Faecal Flower from Naarm, Concentration/Larissa Kunst who had recently moved up from Mooball(rural NSW/Bundjalung land), Fresh Testament headed by Glen Schenau(nusidm) + Matt from Dawdle, Phantom Chips/Tara Pattenden (who runs Cyber Palace and diy venue Cyber Bunker in the valley), Tistriallal binds/Ben Hayes who runs Essential Minerals, and a noise supergroup i had formed - Our lady of Perpetual Ecstasy - consisting of Sky Sansome & Isla/Alsi (who both form Beagle Vortex), Rin Charlton (1/2 of Gongfresh&Clamtown and a long-active artist), Nicola Morton (former convener of Real Bad, member of Club Sound Witches and many other iconic former Brisbane bands featuring mostly on the extensive Breakdance the dawn catalogue) and Rose/VeryTenderFlesh (who some may know from Attention Shoppers or her amazing performance art/cake-sits).
